Stanley Johnson, age 66, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Operating Engineers Local Union # 917. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of The Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Johnson; brothers, Reece Johnson and Jerry Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Carr (Dwayne Carr); grandson, Trevor Carr (Hannah Morgan); great-grandson, Luke Carr; mother, Dorothy Johnson; sisters, Lois Cagle, Wilma Lockhart; step-sisters, Martha Camp and Mary Newman; brothers, Lavern (Janie) Johnson, W.L. (Doris) Johnson, Ardell (Angie) Johnson, Gene Johnson, William Johnson, Leonard (Misty) Johnson, Roger (Geraldine) Johnson, Paul (Shirley) Johnson; special nephew, Jeff (Carrie) Johnson; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Gary Miller, John Hendricks, David Webb, Alfred Myers, and all his friends at McDonalds.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Lowry officiating. Burial in the Hixson Cemetery with military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
