Carolyn Jean King, 65, of Whitwell, TN, died Thursday, March 17, 2016. The daughter of the late Seth Ellis Layne and Imogene Dempsey Durham, Carolyn was a member of Whitwell First Baptist Church .
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Danny King; daughters, Angela (Clinton) Odom of Rock Island, TN, and Heather (Richard) Watkins of Sparta, TN; son, Daniel (Tina) King of Sparta, TN; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. CDT from the funeral home chapel with brother Herschel Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
