George E. Vogt, age 88, of Nashville passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, at his home. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Nashville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Scott Vogt.
Survivors include daughters, Suzanne Sutton and Catherine Hollo; sons, John Scott Vogt and David Ferguson Vogt; grandchildren, Jennifer Vogt, Danielle Pairmore, Micheal A. Sutton, Ian Hollo and Marcus Hollo; a great-grandson, George Hitchcock; and one brother, Walter Vogt.
The burial service will be Monday, March 21, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Pikeville Cemetery with Rev. Luther Hollingsworth officiating. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3501 Central Avenue, Nashville, TN with Rev. Dr. Eric G. Phillips officiating.
