L G Agee age 81 of Crossville, TN died Tuesday April 28, 2009. He was a member of Lone Oak The Baptist Church of Christ and was on the Board of Directors of The Farm Bureau for thirty plus years. He was awarded a resolution for a lifetime of service from the State of Tennessee through farming and agriculture.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lula Agee; brother, Wilbur Agee; sisters, Evelyn Tollett and Sue Goodson; step-mother, Flozell Pendergrass.
He is survived by his wife Gladys Agee of Crossville; two daughters, Sandra (Randell) Singleton of Pikeville and Sharon Caldwell of Crossville, TN; one granddaughter, Tiffany Caldwell; one sister, Iris June Worthington of Pikeville and one sister-in-law, Christine Agee of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Bro. Larry Stubblefield and Bro. James Wright officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Visitation will begin Wednesday 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. CDT.
