Eddie Ann (Nanny) Green, age 77, of Cartwright went to be with the Lord Tuesday night April 28, 2009. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was of the Church of God Faith. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Ray L. Green, parents, Charles and Violet Long ; great-grandson Hershel Privett Jr; sisters, Pauline Foster, Daisy Murphy, Priscilla Kendrick; half-sister, Laura Kilgore; brothers, James and Carl Long.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Doris (Paul) Knight, Gruetli-Laager and Karen (Lynn) Foust, Dunlap; one son, James "Bucky" (Andrea) Green; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Callie (Norman) Green, Whitwell; brother, Leonard Long, Cartwright; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Casey Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Thans Chapel Cemetery. Condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m-9:00 p.m. CDT.
