Obituary of Adam Dewey Smith

Dewey Smith, age 88, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at NHC Healthcare Center. He is a member of Dunlap church of Christ. He was retired from Combustion and also worked for several years for Condra Grocery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Eliza Smith; three sisters; five brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Smith; two daughters, June (Gaylen) Walraven, Dunlap, and Ruth Anne Mason, Soddy-Daisy; son, Van Foster Lewis, Dunlap; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special nephew, Johnny William Britt; special friend, Anthony Shaffer; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Keith Pickett officiating. Burial will be in Rankin Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
