Harry Lee Rankin, Jr. age 72 of Pikeville died Sunday April 26, 2009. He was a member of IBEW Local 846.
He is survived by his five children, Vickie (Stan) Hitchcock of Dunlap, Mike (Pat) Rankin and Ricky (Sheila) Rankin both of Pikeville, Chelsea Rankin of Pikeville and Nicole Wyatt of Chattanooga and a very very special friend, Brenda Hitchcock; grandchildren, Matthew (Kathleen) Hitchcock of Oceanside, CA, Ansley Hitchcock of Dunlap, Jonathan and Joshua Rankin of Pikeville: two great-grandchildren, Tyson Rankin of Pikeville and Ivy Evans of Spencer: brothers and sisters, Frances (Leonard) Cagle, Rachel Rankin, Loretta (Wendell) Myers, Tommy (Jean) Rankin all of Pikeville, Joe (Helen) Stillwell and Wanda Miller both of McMinnville; James Charles (Joy) Rankin of Johnson City, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Brother Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery.
