Terry Lynn Holland, age 49, of Hampton, GA died early Friday morning April 24, 2009 at Hampton Medical Center, Hampton, GA. He was a graduate of Bledsoe County High School in 1977; Naval Training Center in San Diego, CA in 1979. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Kennedy and was employed by FDA in Atlanta, GA for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Berlene Holland Pursley and step-father Toby Pursley; brother, Travis Allen Holland; grandparents, Velma and Edward Daggett and Mamie and Gordon Holland.
He is survived by his father, Bigah Holland, Pikeville; brothers, Wayne (Connie) Holland and Bobby (Angie) Holland, Pikeville; step-brother, Charles Lee (Kim) Pursley, Pikeville; sisters, Kim (Carlos) Wilson and Darlene (Danny) Hendon, Dunlap; step-children Amy and Chad Cowart, Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh. Com. Arrangerments by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00-9:00 p.m. CDT. And Sunday from 9:00 a.m-9:00 p.m.
