Obituary of Benny Elmo Dodson

Benny Dodson, age 70 of Spencer, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was a Church of God minister and a member of the Brockdell Church of God. He was also a volunteer fire fighter for the Fall Creek Fall Community. He was preceded in death by parents Issac and Bertha Dodson; sister Geneva Guy; two brothers James and Bobby Dodson.
Survivors include wife Nida Dodson; children Johnny (Ginger) Dodson; Ronnie (Vivian) Dodson; Darlene Dodson; Scotty Dodson; and Brandon Dodson all of Spencer; seven grandchildren; two sisters Margaret (Levi) Johnson, and Genell Steakley;two sister-in-laws Pauline and Pat Dodson; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm CDT at the Brockdell Church of God with burial following in Cagle Cemetery. Brother Donnie Cox will be officiating. Visitation will start Friday after 11:00 am CDT at the Brockdell Church of God. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
