Opal Ellis, age 86 of Pikeville, died Tuesday March 31, 2009. She was a member of the Pikeville United Methodist Church of which she was a dedicated member for the past fifty two years. She was preceded in death by her husband John Ellis and son Tommy Ellis.
She is survived by two sons, Bill (Patsy) Ellis and James (Kristia) Ellis; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Ellis; grandchildren, Hope Ashburn, Justin Ellis, Elizabeth Morgan, Samantha Ellis and Julianna Ellis; one great-grandchild and one brother, Marshall Daugherty,
Funeral service will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. CST at the Pikeville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ellis Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday 3 until 9 p.m. CST at the funeral home.
