Thomas "Tom" Robert Higdon, 68, of Dunlap, TN died Monday evening March 23, 2009 at North Valley Medical Plaza. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Higdon; two brothers, Grady and Bob Higdon.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Layne; four brothers, Chester, Richard, and Hershel Higdon all of Dunlap and Larry Higdon, Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bryant Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
