Opal J. Millard, age 89 of Pikeville, died at her residence Friday, March 13, 2009. She was a member of the College Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by husband William T. Millard; sons Marvin and Ellis Millard; daughter Phyllis Walters, three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Survivors include daughters Sue (James) Settles, Hixson; Francis (Paul) Myers and Wanda (Gary) Douglas both of Pikeville; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one sister Jessie Lee "Tootsie" Thomas. Services will be Monday at 11:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
