Mamie Lee Brock Holland,"Granny", age 94 of Pikeville, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gordon Holland; daughters Patsy Sue Land, Crystal Rae Davis, Sara Josephine Layne; son Charles Holland Jr.; brothers Alley, William, Melvin, Huey, Millard, Varlin, Lester, and Winfred Brock; sister Iola Burgess; three grandchildren Tressie Darlene Holland, Michael Layne and Travis Holland; great-grandson Doug Holland.
Survivors include daughters Dora Reatha (Bobby) Housley, Hixson; Greta (Tom) Way, Dunlap; sons, Bigah Lee Holland, Pikeville; Clifford (Nema) Holland and Vance (Dianne) Holland,Dunlap; twenty-five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Willa Dean Womack, Georgia; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Johnson-Lewis Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
