Ernest Mooneyham, age 76 of Spencer, died Monday, July 4, 2011.
He was a member of the Church of Christ at Midway. Ernest was preceded in death by parents Herb and Minnie Mooneyham; sisters Vernie Myers and Mary Jane Guy; brothers Clay and Foster Mooneyham.
Survivors include wife of 56 years Myrtle Mooneyham, Spencer; daughters Debora (Don) Poche, Lenoir City; Stephanie (Arno) Neely, Spencer; sons Fredrick (Treva) Mooneyham and Nathan (Donna) Mooneyham, both of Spencer; grandchildren Adam and Grant Mooneyham, Trenton Mooneyham, Eric and Andrew Poche, Erin, Sara, and Cheyenne Poche; Laura and Grace Neely; six great-grandchildren; sisters Dovie Walker and Notie Ashley, McMinnville; Lola Ashely, Ann Haston and Lyda Hodge, Spencer; brother Amos Mooneyham, Spencer; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am CDT at the Church of Christ at Midway with Bro. Gene Brock officiating. Burial will be in Graveyard Ridge Cemetery.
