Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Farmer

Frances B. Farmer, age 90 of Pikeville, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011. She was a Christian and a long- standing member of Cold Springs Church of Christ. She taught in the Bledsoe County School System. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Farmer and one brother, Clarence Brown.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann (Ray) Bell, Franklin; a son, Charles (Flora) Farmer, Knoxville; two grandsons, David (Connie) Farmer and Martin (Kathy) Farmer; five great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild; sister, Blanch Weaver, Pikeville; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Brown, Pikeville and Mamie Ruth Patton, Signal Mtn.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Minister Dennis Smith officiating. Burial in Pikeville cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m.until funeral time Friday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
