Maymie Ruth Reed, age 83 of Pikeville, died Thursday, June 30, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church and The Bledsoe County Women's Auxillary. Maymie Ruth was preceded in death by husband Robert Reed.
Survivors include daughter Willann (Slater) Smith and son Randell (Betty) Reed, both of Pikeville; five grandchildren Cathy Browning, Steve Reed, Donna Brock, Bob Campbell, and Brad Smith; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother Landon (Ruth) Cox, Dayton; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Service will be Saturday at 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Freddie Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
