J. C. Troglin, age 79 of Pikeville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was a member of the Pikeville Church of Christ; retired from the U. S. Air Force and Taft Youth Center. J. C. was preceded in death by wife Lela Mitchell Troglin; parents Johnnie and Estrella Troglin; sister Beatrice Troglin and brother Charles Troglin.
Survivors include wife of forty-one years Reva Troglin, Pikeville; daughters Kathy (Arvil) Pursley, Signal Mountain; Linda (Donald) Gifford; Sherry (George) Thompson; son Terry Worthington, all of Pikeville; six grandchildren Michelle Ruffner, Chad Pursley, Kara Owens, Matt Gifford, Marcus Thompson and Lindsey Thompson; five great-grandchildren Derrick Pursley, Daphne Pursley, Jacob Ruffner, Rachel Ruffner, Brooks Thompson. Service will be Thursday at 10:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Pikeville Cemetery.
