Nancy L. Williams, age 68, of East Ridge, TN, came to rest in peace Sunday, May 22, 2011. She was a member of East Ridge United Methodist Church. She was an author, teacher and professor. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Louise Scholtens.
She is survived by husband, Tab Williams; two sons, Rick (Cherie) Williams, Guntersville, AL and Matt Williams (Andrea Hamilton), Red Bank; three grandchildren, Destin, Ayla and Brooke Williams; sister, Jeannie Svennungsen, Kent, WA; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday 5:00 p.m. EDT at East Ridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Sauer officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to East Ridge United Methodist Church, 1601 Prater Road, Chattanooga, TN 37412.
