Joyce Marie Johnson, age 72, of Dunlap, TN, died Sunday night, May 22, 2011 at Grandview Medical Center. She was of the Church of God Faith. She was preceded in death by husband, Franklin D. Johnson; brothers, Elbert Morrison and Herbert "Boy" Morrison; sister, Shelby Jean Layne.
She is survived by daughter, Peggy (Chris) Billingsley, Whitwell; two sons, Thomas (Angela) Johnson and Franklin D. Johnson Jr., West Palm Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Shelly Coreck and Kelly Lofty; one great-grandson, Peyton Lofty; sisters, Realine Konarski, Hobart, IN and Lucille Pearson, Forest Park, GA; brother, Hoyt "Rabbit" Morrison, Dundee, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Bryant Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
