Maxine Thurman Smith, age 83 of Pikeville, died Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceding her in death was a brother Sidney Thurman.
She is survived by daughter Shirley (Wayne) Terry, Crossville; two sons Gary Smith, Pikeville ; Darrell B. Smith, Cowpen, S. C. ; four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; sister Nanny Henderson, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 10am CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Albert Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Worthington Cemetery.
