Frances Morgan, age 88 of Pikeville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home. She was a member of New Harmony Church of Christ and a charter member of the New Harmony Home Demonstration Club. Frances was preceded in death by husband Eugene (Gene) Morgan; son Roger Dale Morgan; parents Arby and Elma Crane; brothers Dale, Eugene, Doug, and Lynnie Crane; sisters Minnie Fann and Nina Irons.
Survivors include five daughters Geraldine (Delma) Shaver; Oleta (Freddy) Brewer both of Dayton; Claudette (John) Shaver, Chattanooga; Josephine (Steve) Regner, Clinton, MD; Rhonda (Jamey) Roberson, Pikeville; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three brothers Virgil, Cecil, and Auldin Crane, Dayton; sister Virginia Stephens, Wartburg; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Paul Cagle officiating. Burial in Rigsby Cemetery. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers and granddaughters as honorary pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
