Hazel "Midge" Morrison, age 74 of Powells Crossroads, TN passed away Sunday morning February 27, 2011.
Midge was born September 30, 1936 to the last Doyle and Dora Moore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitwell. She worked as a Kindergarten Aide at Griffith Creek Elementary School and worked as a cafeteria worker at the Whitwell High School for 15 years and also worked at Raceway in Whitwell. She was preceded in death by her sister Mitzi Partin.
She is survived her husband Jerry Morrison; two sons Greg (Gail) Morrison, Powells Crossroads and Roger (Debbie) Morrison, Harrison; Two daughters Karen (Ron) Rogers, Soddy-Daisy and Sherri (Jeff) Thomas, Whitwell; grandchildren Ryan, Shea and Zach Thomas, Chelsea, Caitlin and Ciera Rogers, Adam, Wyatt and Dalton Morrison; sister, Helen Brandt, WI; four brothers, John Moore, Harrison, Bud Moore, Red Bank, Keaven Moore, WI and Jim Moore Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 pm CST at the First Baptist Church Whitwell with Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday 5:00 to 9:00p.m. CST and Tuesday 3:00-9:00 pm CST.
