Norris Condra, Sr., age 82 of Whitwell, died Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was a member of Coppinger Cove Baptist Church, former Mayor of the City of Whitwell, and served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Preceding Norris in death were his parents Brown and Rose Condra; sister Rachel Fowler.
Survivors include sons Norris 'Wampee' (Nancy) Condra, Jr., Whitwell; Joel (Holly) Condra, Fla.; daughter Vicky Kisiel, Chicago; sister Carrie Nelson, Chattanooga; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; . Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Teague and Bro. Ronnie Cookston officiating. Burial will be in Condra Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 28 South, Whitwell, TN. Visitation Sunday 5-9 pm Monday 9-9 and Tuesday 9am until service time.
