Obituary of Virginia Sue Goins

Virginia Groover Goins, age 85, of Dunlap, TN, died Thursday, February 10, 2011. She was a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church and The Retired Teacher Association. She retired in 1987 after 33 years of teaching in the Sequatchie County School System. She was preceded in death by parents, B.F. and Mae Smith Groover; husband, Lee Roy Goins.
She is survived by sons, John Forrest (Melissa) Goins, Etowah, and Spencer Lee (Elizabeth) Goins; four grandchildren, Emily Goins Randle, Laura, Meredith, and Forrest Goins; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Jacob Randle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Gerald Casson officiating. Burial will be in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
