Jamie Carolyn Britt, age 69, of Pikeville died Tuesday February 1, 2011. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee and Nina Ruth Swafford; granddaughter, Viola Marie Wooten and great-granddaughter, Hanley Peyton Bechard.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Joe Britt; three daughters, Sandra (Dorayn) Madaris, Flintstone, Ga; Becky Brock & Richard Carroll, Ringgold, GA and Jackie Brock, Pikeville; four sons, Billy Joe (Nancy) Swafford, Flint, MI; Bobby Brock, Pikeville, Randy Brock, Ringgold, Ga and Ronnie (Kathy) Brock, WA; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Janice Frew, Pikeville, Brenda (Albert) Shoulders, Dunlap, Edna (Frank) Cope, Pikeville, Beulah (James) Songer, Dunlap, and Diane Haidera, AZ; three brothers, Perry (Carol) Swafford, Dunlap, Charles Swafford, Ind and Jessie Swafford, AZ.
Service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel with Bro.Mike Standefer and Bro. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-9 p.m. CST.
