Obituary of Zanda Mae Angel

Zanda Angel, age 77 of Pikeville, died Friday, January 28, 2011. Zanda was a member of Pikeville Church of Christ where she was a former Sunday School teacher for many years, past president of the Bledsoe County Historical Society, president of Bledsoe Senior Citizens, member of Bledsoe County Genealogical Society, and a member of the Bledsoe County Garden Club. She was a retired employee of Taft Youth Center where she worked for thirty-six years. Zanda was preceded in death by her husband Roger Angel.
Survivors include daughters Debora Angel (John) Pompi, Ronda (Robert) Denn, Sonya (Jack) Johnson, all of Pikeville; son Jeffery (Vanessa) Angel, Pikeville; grandchildren Rachel and Zachary Bruning, Samantha Pompi, Michael, Lauren, and Sean Denn, Mason and Rebecca Angel, Justin and Tessa Johnson; brothers Milfred (Sue) Waggoner, Wendell (Charla) Waggoner, Texas; mother-in-law Mary Rose Angel, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at l:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Blackburn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
