Roy Clayton Brock, 78 of Pikeville, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 24, 2011. Roy was born on February 16, 1932 in Pikeville to the late Hobert and Virgie Lou Brock. He retired from General Motors, was a Korean War Veteran and a member of VFW Post 5033. Roy was a loving husband and father and was devoted to his family. He enjoyed working in his garden and was an avid gun and knife collector, and enjoyed watching sports. Roy was preceded in death by his brother Wiley Ray Brock and sister Willadean Overturf. He is survived by wife of fifty four years Edna Mae Brock, Pikeville; three daughters Debi Wegley, Brookville, OH; Sherry Denlinger, Dayton, OH; Tammy (Tip) Watson, Spring City; one son Roy Charles (Amy) Brock, Brookville, OH; three granddaughters Kristen (Jay) Mahan, OH; Maegan Wegley, OH; Brianna Watson, Spring City; step-granddaughter Kayla Cumming; five grandsons Ryan (Becky) Denlinger, OH; Private Zachary Denlinger, Army based in Fort Knox, Ky, Joshua Brock and Dylan Davis of Pikeville, Cody Watson of Spring City; three great-grandchildren, Logan and Brooklyn Mahan of OH, Savannah Denlinger of OH; five sisters, Earestean Brock of Oak Ridge, Christean Madden of Pikeville, Helen Smith of West Virginia, Mary James and Shirley Bush of OH. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. CST in the chapel. Visitation isThursday 6-8 pm CST. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
