Obituary of William Mark Sherman

William Mark Sherman, age 60, of Pikeville, TN, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2021. Mark passed peacefully in his sleep, after an extended illness, at his mom’s home in Lebanon, TN. A native of Pikeville, TN, he was the son of Catherine Allison England and William (Bill) E. Sherman, Jr.. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, JC and Mary Allison and William and Frances Sherman. Mark is survived by his mother, Catherine England; father, Bill (Daphne) Sherman; daughter, Marisa Sherman Davis; sons, William Chad Sherman and Garrett Adam Sherman; grandsons, Bryson Davis and William Zane Sherman; granddaughters, Aspen Davis and Jaycee Sherman: brother, Wes (Kelly) Sherman; sisters Cyndi (Randy) Sherman Mobley, Kymm (Darrell) Sherman Lee, Kelly (Brian) Sherman Williby; the mother of his children, Lisa Roberson Sherman; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mark loved his children and grandchildren fiercely. Mark loved fishing with his grandchildren, visiting with family and friends, watching football, listening to music, spending time reading in his Bible, and enjoying his newfound relationship with Jesus. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Chris Cranfill officiating. Burial will be in Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m CDT. Bryson Davis, Chad Sherman, Garrett Sherman, Wes Sherman, Darrell Lee, Gary Partin, Brian Lloyd, and Perry Brown will serve as pallbearers, with Jimmy Newby serving as honorary pallbearer.
