Obituary of Robert Reese

Robert L. “Bob” Reese, 64, of Whitwell, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was the owner of Twin City Pawn Shop, a member of the John Henry Pierce Lodge #752 F&AM, a 32? member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Viola Reese; and one brother, Roy “Pete” Reese, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Pickett Reese, of Whitwell; and two sons, Michael “Bumper” (Paula) Reese and Shane Reese, both of Chattanooga. He was also blessed with four grandchildren Braxton, Cameron, Briston, and Tyler Reese, all of Chattanooga. He is also survived by four siblings, Anna Kizer of Chattanooga, Bill (Ann) Reese of Powder Springs, Georgia, Jean Poulin of Itasca, Illinois, and Blaine Reese of Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held onTuesday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery with military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Stuart Heights Baptist Church, 1505 Cloverdale Dr., Hixson, TN 37343; or, Grace Church of the Nazarene, 6310 Dayton Blvd., Hixson, TN 37343.
