Obituary of Jerry Randall Smith

Jerry R. Smith, age 72, of Pikeville, TN, died Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Erlanger Bledsoe. He was retired from TDOT, a loving father and grandfather and loved collecting old cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Smith; parents, John and Evelyn Smith; sisters, Carolyn Reed, Devota Brewer and Judy Cummings; brother, Ridley Smith, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Nancy Smith. He is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Gale (Jeff) Neal and Tabitha Smith; grandson, Mason Neal, sisters, Ann Craig and Linda Smith; brothers, Ronnie Smith of Dayton and Richard Smith of Pikeville; sister-in-laws, Martha Smith and Sue Anderson; brother-in-laws, J.L. Reed and Bill Cummings; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CST and Monday, March 8 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m..
