Mary Grace Kelly, loving wife and mother, age 84, of Dunlap TN died Thursday Afternoon February 23, 2012 in the NHC Health Care Facility in Dunlap.
She was a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church, Cherokee Chapter O.E.S 301, charter member of the Dunlap Garden Club, American Business Women's Association, Sequatchie County Family and Community Education Club, was active with the American Red Cross Blood Mobile and was a member of the World War II Memorial Museum at New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Hallie Belle Layne.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Kelly; two daughters, Mary Jim (Charles) Kelly Cogdill, Cleveland, TN and Susan (Lynn) Merriman, Dunlap; son Chip (Jill) Kelly Dunlap; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Layne, Dunlap and Patsy Jones, McMinnville; several nieces and nephews. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, 333 Mamaroneck Avenue #492 White Plains, NY 106053 or The American Cancer Society Patrick F. Funeral services will be held Saturday 6:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Doug Silvers officiating. Burial will be in the Kelly Family Cemetery.
