Brooke Marie Stockwell, age 19, of Dunlap, TN, died Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was a top ten graduate of Sequatchie County High School Class of 2010 and was currently attending Chattanooga State Technical Community College. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billie Sue Layne, Justin Farmer; great-grandparents Howard and Corine Stockwell, and Howard Meeks; uncle, Richard Layne.
She is survived by parents, Scott and Teresa Stockwell; sister, Haley Stockwell; grandparents, Billy Ralph Layne, David & Linda Stockwell, all of Dunlap and Diane Oaks, MI; great-grandmothers, Violet Farmer, MI and Nadine Ross, Grundy County; aunts, Tammy Stockwell and Shannon Stockwell, Dunlap; uncle, Patrick Stockwell, Dunlap.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST and Wednesday 1:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
