Wilma Hixson Lewis, age 91, of Dunlap, TN, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home. She was a member of the Welch Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Cherokee Chapter O.E.S., a musician and lover of music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dreafus Lewis; parents, Will and Bertha Hixson; sister, Lucille Barker; nephew, Howard Barker.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Gladys Lewis; her beloved grandsons, who were the love of her life, Aaron and Benton Lewis, all of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Doug Silvers, Bro. Greg Bartley and Bro. Gary Lange officiating. Burial will be in the Hixson Cemetery.
