Jerry Wenton Putnam, age 62 of Pikeville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, after a battle with a rare blood disease. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandpa.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of sixteen years Mary Frances Putnam; daughters Melanie (Alan) Gavami, Nashville; Christie Keener, Dayton; son Jimmy (Stephanie) Keener, Crossville; grandchildren Robin, Michael, Marvin, Skyler; great-granddaughter Sage; beloved sisters Annette Miller, Carolyn (Bobby) Keedy, Jo Ann (Gerald) Reece, Thelma Neal, and Brenda (Clarence) Camp; brothers Jimmy (Felecia) Putnam, and Terry Putnam; several nieces, nephews; his Hubbard Farm Family and numerous friends.
Service will be Thursday at 10:00 am CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Donnie Lawson, Bro. Tony Britt, and Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Cemetery.
