Obituary of James LaMark Cordell

James La"Mark" Cordell, age 55 of Dunlap, TN born December 9, 1954 died on December 6, 2010 at Erlanger Hospital. He was an employee of Sequatchie County Board of Education until his disability and was a local farmer. He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and a Graduate of Sequatchie County High School. He was preceded in death by parents, W.B. and Nancy Corene Cordell; sister, Mary Joyce Cordell.
He is survived by wife, Marilyn Faye Seals Cordell; daughter, Aleysha Lynn Cordell; granddaughter, Erin Marie Johnson; two brothers, Lebron (Ailene) Cordell and Johnny (Sharon) Cordell; sister, Regina Faye (Paul) Mahoney; and half sisters, Sammie Lou Flanagan and Billie Sue Cox all of Dunlap, TN.; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. CST at Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Tucker officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
