Dorothy Lee Gallagher "Dottie", age 85 of Pikeville, TN and formerly of Glen Burnie Md. And Odenton, Md. Died on November 6, 2010. Dorothy was born a Native American Lumbee Indian in Lumberton, N. C. She left N. C. in her teens and came to Baltimore, Md to work at Bendix Radio after WW2. Later, she moved to Odenton, Md. Where she worked at the Golden Flame (now Perry's) restaurant. She stated many times that it was the best job she ever had and loved her customers. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Francis L. Gallagher (married for 27 years) and Robert F. Clatterbuck (Married for 25 years). She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Post 160. Dottie wanted everyone to know that she had a great life and loved her family, friends, and her wonderful nurses Christy, Bradley, Thelma, and her devoted care givers Rhonda, Angie, Amy, Charity, Grace, Roni, Steph, and Sarah very much.
Surviving are three children Frances L. Jones, William L. Gallagher and Laura L. Arner; grandchildren William R. Gallagher, Thomas E. Jones, and Wendy E. Sullivan; eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm CST at Putnam-Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville, TN. Monday, November 8, 2010. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm EST at Donaldson Funeral Home, 1411 Annapolis Road in Odenton, Md. On November 10, 2010. Services will be conducted at Donaldson Funeral Home at 11:00 am EST on November 11, 2010 with burial in Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, Md.
