Willie Akins, age 85 of Pikeville, died October 31, 2010, in the Bledsoe County Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Lori Akins; brothers, Jim, Norman, C.L. and Adophis Akins; sister, Polly McWilliams.
She is survived by son, Randall Akins of Pikeville; sister, Elizabeth Jolly of Louisville, KY; special nephew, Kenneth Harmon of Signal Mountain; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mike Stanifer officiating. Burial will be in the McGlothen Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap.
