Lena Scruggs Craven age 87 of Jasper, TN died Monday August 30, 2010. She was a member of Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she taught preschool for many years.
Her husband James Lee Craven preceded her in death.
Survivors include son James W. (Wilma) Craven, Evensville, TN; grandsons Douglas (Heather) Craven, Dayton, TN and Mark (Katrina) Craven, Red Bank; five great-grandchildren; sister Faye Levan, Ringgold, GA; brother Douglas Scruggs, Powells Crossroads and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Patterson officiating. The burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. CDT at the funeral home and Thursday 12 noon CDT until funeral time at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
