Margaret "Shorty" Tucker age 68 died Thursday August 5, 2010 in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member Of Whitwell First Baptist Church and was former vice-mayor of Whitwell. She coached Little J Softball Team to the state champion was the leading Basketball Scorer in the Chattanooga League for Provident.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Alvin and Neva Young; sister Loretta Elliott; brother Larry Young.
Survivors; husband, Charles Tucker; daughters Tracy (Vic) Grider, Kimball, TN; Teena ( Jamie) Casseday, Sequatchie, TN; Two sons; Teddy (Karen) Tucker; Signal Mountain; Freddy (Tonya) Tucker; Whitwell, TN. ten grandchildren. Sister; Alvena Allen; Sandra Coppinger both of Chattanooga. Funeral service will be Saturday 2:00 pm CDT at Whitwell First Baptist Church with Bro Craig Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
