Jack Oliver "Bud" Wilson, age 80 of Dunlap, TN died Wednesday evening October 26, 2011 at his home.
He was a member of the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He helped to establish the Sequatchie County Rescue Squad of which he was a member for 41 years and the also helped to build the Squad Building.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Oliver and Ruth Lillian Johnson Wilson; great-granddaughter, Miya Olivia Chatman; sisters, Katherine Wilson and Helen Wilson Lockhart.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Shirley Brown Wilson; daughter, Sharon Ruth Wilson, Chattanooga; son, David (Kathy) Wilson, Stafford, VA; granddaughters, Martina (Kimothy) Chatman, Elizabeth V., Amanda, Savannah, Kalli and Karli Wilson; great-grandchildren, Vicki, Jerie, Micah and Emory Wilson and Kymani Chatman; sister Mable Ruth Talley, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Burial will be in the Hoodenpyle Cemetery. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Thursday and Friday 5-8 p.m. CDT.
