Alan Millsaps, age 59, of Dunlap, TN died Wednesday morning August 4, 2010 at his home. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, Maryville, TN, served on the sequatchie County Farmers Co-op board for 6 years, an avid cattle farmer, taught in the Sequatchie School System and was a local contractor. He was preceded in death by his father Verl Millsaps.
He is survived by his wife Karen Jo Millsaps; daughter Christy Jo (Mark) Rankin; son Burt Millsaps; 2 grandchildren, Bryson and Kate Rankin; mother, Edna Millsaps Best, Maryville; sister, Angela Salim, Maryville.
Funeral will be Saturday morning at 10:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Speakers Jeff Land and Dr. Randy Allen. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery.
