Georgia Belle Johnson, age, of Dunlap, TN died at NHC Health Care.
She was a retired teacher of Sequatchie County Schools. She taught English at SCHS but most of her career she served as the Attendance Supervisor for the county. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and became a life long supporter of the Tennessee Vols. She was a member of Dunlap First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School Classes for 40 years.
Preceded in Death by her Parents, Herbert and Effie Jones, brother, Herbert Jones, Husband, Ralph W. Johnson.
Survivors are Daughter: Rebecca Johnson (Joe Lynn) Smith;
Son: Jan Baxter (Sandy) Johnson: Grandchildren; Kelly Johnson Broyles, Jeff Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Jennifer Smith Harris, Justin Smith, Benjamin Smith; Great-grandchildren, Parks Broyles, Alex Broyles, Hardin Harris, Powers Harris, Luke Smith, Avery Smith, Baylor Johnson.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 7:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gary Anderson and Rev, Randy Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Rankin Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
