Marie Clatie Harvey, 79 age of Dunlap, TN died Thursday June 24, 2010 at her home in the Lewis Chapel Community from cancer. She was a member of Mowbray Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School many years. She worked many years at Dixie Yarn and later became a devoted stay at home mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Meck and Minnie Harvey; a sister, Addie Swanger and a son, Rickey Jason Harvey.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, J.T. Harvey; a sister, Zella Harvey; a son, Dennis (Dianne) Harvey; 3 daughters, Janice (Chris) Brown, JoAnn (Bobby) Shepherd and Jewell (Kenny) Fields; 7 grandsons, Stephen & Justin Harvey, Tony Boyd, J.R. & Frank Shepherd, Chris Grindstaff and Jason Steele; 4 great grandsons; 5 great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Broadway officiating. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery.
