Obituary of Nellie Corine Stewart

Nellie Corine Stewart, age 94, of Dunlap, TN passed away, with family by her side, on Monday June 7, 2010 at Grandview Medical Center. She was born on May 26, 1916 and raised on Lewis Chapel Mountain. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie W. Stewart; parents, Willie and Myrtle Shadwick Johnson; 4 brothers, Foster, William (Widge), Reese and Hillard Johnson; 5 sisters, Sallie Marie and Minnie Johnson, Lella Snyder, Mabel Stewart and Rosie Swanger; 2 sons, Charles Landon and Willie Wilkie Stewart; 1 daughter, Lena AnnaLyne Stewart; 1 granddaughter, Joanna Camp and a son-in-law, Clyde Reed; 2 step-sons, Thomas and Cecil Stewart; 4 step-daughters, Mazelle Titshaw, Veola Sutherland, Bernice Cunningham and Wilma Stewart. She is survived by 3 sons, Simon R, Foster F and Raymond V. Stewart, all of Dunlap; 5 daughters, Rosa C Hobbs, Teresa J Kirkpatrick and Paula J Lahmers all of Dunlap, Kathy J Stewart and Denise Brown, Chattanooga; 2 step-sons, Lloyd Stewart, Dunlap and Radis Stewart, Chattanooga; 2 step-daughters, Pauline Cain and Geneva Brown both of Dunlap; 1 brother, Ed Harvey Jr of LasVegas, NV., 15 grandchildren, Sherry Dover, Robbie Johnson, Joey (Bucky) Camp, David Reed, Shawn Hobbs, Kirk Hobbs Allie, Alex and Ariel Lahmers, Christy Howard, Stacy Cartwright, Angela Green, Tommy Shoulders, Timmy Atterton and Billy Ray Reed; 25 Great-grandchildren; 4 Great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery on Lewis Chapel Mt. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
