Barbara “Granny Bobby” McDowell, age 68, of Dunlap died Friday evening May 21, 2010 in the Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband Otto McDowell; mother Juanita Pearson; two sisters; a brother.
She is survived by five daughters, Teresa Walden, Ten Mile, Geradine Carmack, Ten Mile, Cindy Garner, Whitwell, Kay Layne, Dunlap and Phylis Johnston, Hixson; son Jessie Harvey, Dunlap; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Harvey, Dunlap, Patricia Sinks, Dunlap; brother Daniel Pearson, Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday 4:00 p.m. CDT in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Lanny Tate officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends 2-3:30 p.m. CDT Sunday.
