Obituary of Mary Tate Van Hooser

Mary Tate Van Hooser age 91 of Whitwell, TN died Friday morning March 19, 2010 at NHC Health Care Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitwell, was a local school teacher and Librarian and was preceded in death by her husband James Hoyt Van Hooser Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Sydney (Bobby) Durham, Whitwell, and Leslie (Gary) Hickman, Dunlap; two sons, James Hoyt (Drenda) Van Hooser Jr, Lawrenceville, GA and Steve (Lois) Van Hooser, Chattanooga; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Highway 28, Whitwell, TN. Family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
