Willis Thurman, age 85 of Bledsoe County, died Friday, September 30, 2011. He was preceded in death by two sisters Lola Pelfrey Biflo and Rosa Kerley; two brothers Roscoe and Virnel Thurman; grandson Chris Thurman.
Survivors include wife of fifty-seven years Lovenia Thurman; son Everett (Cora) Thurman all of Bledsoe County; daughter Jean (Billy) Guffey, Trenton; four grandchildren Ethan and Edward Thurman; Jessica and Laci Guffey.
Service will be Monday at 1:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with burial in Dunn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Sunday 4-8pm CDT.
