Ricky Franklin Keener, age 51, of Dunlap, TN, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Fredonia Church of God and worked with Sequatchie Fellowship and had coached basketball and football. He was preceded in death by father, Ed Keener.
He is survived by wife, Julia Keener; two daughters, Tessa Keener, Dunlap and Karen (Patrick) Trentham, Cookeville; one son, Patrick "Boo" (Emily) Keener, Dunlap; granddaughter, Victoria Keener; mother, Jayne Keener, Dunlap; two sisters, Peggy (Hal) Keener, Chattanooga and Theresa (David)Cross, McDonald, TN; special dad, James "Pat" Farley; two step-sisters, Julia (Danny) Wright, Georgetown, TN and Jan (Eddie) Henson, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Michael Grant officiating. Burial will be in the Collier Cemetery.
