Jerry Joe Hendon, age 63, of Graysville, TN, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at his home. He was a member of the Pitts Gap Church of God. He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Thelma Hendon; brothers, George, William, Dennis and Tommy Hendon.
He is survived by wife, Virginia Hendon; daughters, Melony Mooneyham, Carolyn (Richard) Stephens, Sandra Hendon and Donna Hendon all of Graysville, TN; sons, Johnny Hendon, Graysville and Robbie (Valerie) Hendon, Dunlap; grandchildren, Terrance Defore, Alise Stephens, Charlie Stephens, Miranda Hendon, Erika Hendon, Lebron Harvey; sisters, Bobbie Brown, Dunlap and Wilma Stewart, Soddy Daisy; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Lanny Tate officiating. Burial will be in the Hendon Cemetery.
