Herman Newman, age 77, of Dunlap, TN, died Wednesday night, August 31, 2011. He was a well known figure in the community. He was preceded in death by wife, Mae Newman.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jerry, Vicky, Roni and Krista Summers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Barker officiating. Burial will be in the Sequatchie Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. CDT.
